Description
This is a acrylic painting on canvas of a one room schoolhouse in Stafford Springs Ct. The school was restored by the historical society and is now open to the public. I wanted to do a painting of this building but decided to create a scene also from when the school was in operation in the 1800's. I tried to paint in a style reminiscent of a Grandma Moses painting.
