Artist's Description

This view is of the Stafford Savings bank and Stafford National bank circa 1870. This bank was established in the early 1870's. On March 27 1877 a dam broke releasing tons of water that came rushing into town wiping out many businesses and homes along the way. This bank was one of the casualties.

Jeff Blazejovsky

Jeff Blazejovsky was born and raised in Northeastern Ct. He always has the natural ability to draw and paint, since childhood. As a child growing up, he loved reading and studying the works of famous artists and illustrators such as, Norman Rockwell, Tom Lovell, Andrew Wyeth, Winslow Homer to name a few. Over the years into adulthood, he pursued his passion. Now retired, he's doing what he's always loved, and that's pursuing his love of art as a second career. His medium of choice is watercolor, which he first started using in a high school art class, but he also enjoys using graphite and colored pencil.
