Wil's pizza shop was an icon in my hometown of Stafford Ct. in the 60's and 70's. This is another in my series of paintings recreating times that are gone by. This painting represents a typical summer night circa 1972.
Jeff Blazejovsky was born and raised in Northeastern Ct. He always has the natural ability to draw and paint, since childhood. As a child growing up, he loved reading and studying the works of famous artists and illustrators such as, Norman Rockwell, Tom Lovell, Andrew Wyeth, Winslow Homer to name a few. Over the years into adulthood, he pursued his passion. Now retired, he's doing what he's always loved, and that's pursuing his love of art as a second career. His medium of choice is watercolor, which he first started using in a high school art class, but he also enjoys using graphite and colored pencil.
